Tear Drop Grip Caps:
Recessed Pocket Style

Recessed grip caps have a small "pocket" approximately 1/16" deep machined into the top surface.  The recessed pocket provides an area for custom inlays while providing a small amount of protection for the inlay.  The top of the grip cap is easily engraved to provide accent for the inlay.  Please inquire for bas-relief accents. 

As shown in the section drawing, the top surfaces may be either flat or domed.  Cove, chamfered and scalloped edgings (not shown here) are also availabe.  All items are machined from either castings or flat bar stock as necessary and are unfinished.  Machining these cutouts preclude the possibility of machining square corners.  If square corners are desired, they may be altered by hand.
