Stabilizing services

The services in this section are for those who either can't quite find what they want elsewhere, perhaps want something other say is "impossible" or just want something done in a "hurry".

For instance:

Suppose you wished to make a knife handle from some type of metal and want a custom insert made from stabilized wood or some other material?  Or maybe you'd like to make the handle from two types of stabilized wood with the contrasting woods bonded together before installing on the blade?  Perhpas you'd like a different insert design on each side of the handle?  Or how about an insert raised above the surrounding material so it can be carved?

Then there is the possibility of creating gunstocks with custom inlays boned in before the final shaping is done? 

We are in the process of creating both the custom gunstocks for our prototype rifle/pistol actions and using the technique for a line of knifes to be manufactured.  Photos will be posted when available.  In the meantime, you might want to take a look at the grip cap section.  Several photos have been posted of grip caps made using this process.
