Muzzle brakes, Sight Mount system and Barrel Locks

February 7, 2010

The muzzle brakes may be installed by any competent gunsmith. Precise alignment of the brake to the bore is NOT required.  Slight misalingment will not affect accuracy.  Multiple ports may be added with the addtion of only 2 components for extra reduction in recoil and muzzle lift for larger calibers.  Brake diameter can be made to suit the caliber and barrel size for a much cleaner "look".  The components are easily removed and reinstalled for cleaning.

The rear sight mounting system is a quick change feature which allows the user to rapidly switch rear sights.  Scope mounts, open sights, aperture sights and ghost rings are all interchangeable.  Any commercially available rear sight sytem that mounts using a Weaver style rail may also be used.  Changeover between sight selection takes about 5 seconds....maybe more for slower individuals.

The barrel lock up system consists of just a few components.  It may or may not be necessary to modify the action for this system to work with your firearm.  For bolt action rifles, the quick take down version will require the forend to be split at the front of the receiver.  Those desiring an interchageable barrel but want to retain a one piece stock may easily do so.  However, the stock would need to be removed before changing barrels.  Actions having a separate buttstock and forend will not have this "problem".

These items are so new (just developed in the last week) I haven't had time to make any drawings or develop any brochures.  Pleae email for more information if interested.
